Spring Sunflower Photo Sessions

The Perryman Sisters pose in front of their family farm

For the very first time for spring -I’m scheduling a limited number of sunflower sessions. I usually schedule Fall Sunflower Sessions but this year the folks over at Coon Hollo are having a Sunflower Festival and have given me exclusive access to the sunflower fields after hours through the end of May. The Sunflower Festival is going on for the next two weekends: May 18-19 and 25-26 from 10-4 p.m. and I highly recommend that you spend an afternoon at the farm and then contact me for your special sunflower session in the evening.

From now through May 28th - I am scheduling sunflower sessions during the week at the golden hour from 7-8 p.m. - the farm will be closed to the public during that time - so it really is a special time. Sunsets at the farm are truly spectacular.

Here is a link with all the details for the Sunflower Session.

Quickie Sessions - are being offered for clients that have had a session with me within the last year. I am scheduling just FIVE 20 minute “Quickie” Sessions on May 19th from 7-8 for for only $300. Email me at laurel @laurelhousden.com if you would like to schedule one of these sessions.

Last week I headed over to Coon Hollo to photograph the Perryman Sisters - who’s family own and operate Coon Hollo Family Farm. The sunflowers were just starting to bloom and we enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Here is a preview of what the farm looks like during the golden hour - and the fun we can have!

Enjoy the Video Preview below - just a reminder that all my sessions come with their very own custom created session video - a truly wonderful way of showing off your family story and a great reminder of how much fun it is to hang out.
