I could not get enough of this precious little boy after his studio newborn session – so I decided to visit him at home so the rest of his family could be included in his pictures. Studio sessions are perfect for capturing moody and more fine art portraits of your little guy with the focus on him – but having a newborn session at home is a fun and more relaxing session that the entire family can be included. I’m just thrilled and could not be more humbled to be this family’s photographer – it means the world to me that they trust my vision and allow me access to the most precious milestones in their lives – thank you!

Here are highlights from Samuel’s newborn session. I finally got to meet him at 7 days old. He was such a trooper and a delight. What a beautiful little boy. I also had baby whisper assistance from the uber talented Robin Earnest from Heartstrings Photography = thank you!

She has been through so much these last couple of weeks – dividing her time between her precious 18 month old who severely injured his hand the day she came home with his newborn brother – to nursing and getting to know her brand new baby boy. The strength she possesses is beyond me. She took a break from the chaos and came to me for her newborn session. This is one of my favorite portraits – it reminds us all how deep a mother’s love is – and how there is always enough to go around!
