She is one of my favorite clients. She is beautiful, kind, and brightens up any room she enters with her infectious smile! She first contacted me when she was pregnant with her second son – and now here she is in the fall waiting for baby number three. Her beautiful baby boy was born last week and I can’t wait to meet him for his newborn portraits. Congratulations sweet Ana – you are truly blessed with a full house!

I am so excited to finally create this little guy’s first year Storybook Album. This First Year Storybook Album documents ALL the milestones from his first year including his beautiful mother’s maternity session and the actual birth – followed by his newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and finally his 1st year Smash the Cake Session! Last year I decided to take on a pregnancy project of documenting the growing belly each month of a soon to be Mamma! I was not sure how I was going to incorporate this type of session into my current workflow but I definitely wanted to try and have a finished product to display and to also see if this was something that other mothers to be would want to have as a keepsake of their 9 month journey. I put out a casting call and accepted two pregnant models that came to see me once a month starting at 16 weeks for about 20 minutes to photograph their bumps and then one final session to photograph the final image – with baby! Thank you Dana for being such a willing participant and congratulations on your beautiful new addition.

These Maxwell Parrish maternity portraits where taken at the springs in North Central Florida. When my client contacted me about doing her maternity session at the springs and that her vision was to capture the style of Maxwell Parrish I was thrilled. She truly is a goddess and I could have photographed her for hours more! We arrived at the perfect time in the morning. The mist was still lingering over the warm water of the springs and the sunbeams cutting through added the dramatic flair that we needed. I was lucky to have the help of “C”s husband who was a very talented assistant boom operator! I could not be more happy with how these images came out and also so blessed to have met such an amazing couple!

It pays to wake up at the crack of dawn to get these photographs. This is a sneak peek from a maternity session I did this morning at the Springs. This is actually a test shot I did for metering and one of the very first shots I took from this session. I can’t tell you what a treat it was to be able to get out of the box and do more artistic poses – especially with the backdrop of the water. There will more to come from this session soon!

My Pregnancy Project for expecting mothers captures your growing belly starting at week 20 all the way through to your newborn! At the end of your program – you’ll have a visual history of the various stages of your pregnancy. Here is Dana showing off her glow and her beautiful bump at weeks 20 and 25.
