Gainesville’s azaleas are in full bloom. There’s not a street you can go down that doesin’t have at least one pink azalea bush! Here is a sneak peek of a recent session I did this week. These 18 month old twins are super adorable! The azaleas in Haile Plantation are just spectacular and make a perfect background to show off your spring and Easter portraits. I am scheduling a limited number of Simplicity Sessions this next week on Tuesday and Wednesday between 9-1 by these very same flowers – which are located near my home studio. These 20 minute sessions are for babies 6 months and older and up to two siblings. If you never had a Simplicity Session before – visit this link for more details. I had the pleasure of photographing Asher’s 3 month session this week. He is such a beautiful little baby – full of smiles! I did his newborn session and I can’t believe how much he has grown! I look forward to watching him grow – knowing that in a few short months – he will be sitting up all by himself and then – dare I say – walking!

A few days ago I blogged the proofs from this Baby’s First Year Storybook Album – it finally arrived and it is simply gorgeous. It is a 12 x 12 flushmont album – the pages are nice and thick (2mm) and are printed on professional fuji crystal photographic paper. I am bittersweet that we now have this album -because that means this little guy is over one year old! I look forward to capturing all his milestones – especially now that I am offering Simplicity Mini-Sessioins just for the kids! Below is a picture of proud Mama Ana holding her new Storybook Album – she even brought along her father all the way from Brazil!

I am so excited to finally create this little guy’s first year Storybook Album. This First Year Storybook Album documents ALL the milestones from his first year including his beautiful mother’s maternity session and the actual birth – followed by his newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and finally his 1st year Smash the Cake Session! I so enjoy documenting baby’s first year. Lucas is very special because I was able to photograph his birth – the very first time I had done that! It was an amazing experience. I’ve grown very close to this family – they have become more than just clients – but friends. This year has gone by so fast and would you believe that during Lucas’ 1 year session – his mom informed me that she is now 12 weeks pregnant with baby number 3! Another little boy! Congratulations and a big kiss to Daniel too! Happy First Birthday Lucas – Beautiful Boy!

Last week I visited my brother and his family and got to finally meet my baby niece Allison – who is 8 months old. We also got a chance to see how much my newphew Benjamin has grown – and Aidan was so happy that he got to be the big kid for once. We had such a short time to catch up but we promised to find each other again during the Thanksgiving holiday – we can’t wait!
