One of the highlights of going to DLWS Cape Cod was the opportunity to shoot with the best. Above you will see my pictures of: Joe McNally, Scott Kelby, Moose Peterson, and Joe Sliger from Wacom.. Not pictured above was Laurie Excell - she was a fantastic instructor both in the field and in the Digital Darkroom. I would love to go on one of her Excellent Adventures workshops. Check out Laurie’s web site for more information on her wildlife photography workshops. A special shout out to Laurie - thank you for the help with editing the lighthouse. I have not given it to Mrs. Oransky but everyone I have shown it too knows that she will be very touched by it…thank you again!
But…the greatest highlight of going to DLWS Cape Cod this year was making two new friends - Mark (who actually lives on Cape Cod) and Stacie (from Baltimore - my old stomping grounds). Aaron and I hooked up with Stacie and Mark from the very beginning and we were inseparable from that moment. We were photo soulmates from that very first road trip! Having a local with us gave us the advantage of knowing where and what restaurants were open since it was the off season at Cape Cod and it seemed that NOTHING was open - Not to mention the extra places we got to shoot since Mark knew where some more cool photo spots where! . Thanks Mark for taking such good care of us. After all the blisters have healed and the photos are safely edited and tucked away on my hard drive - I know that all I have to do is look at the picture of the four of us and it will bring me right back to the memories of sharing those great sunrises and sunsets with the two of you - and Aaron too!
