I was interviewed a few weeks ago by a writer from our local newspaper, The Gainesville Sun, about my blog. The writer had found my blog while doing a search for Gainesville area blogs – more specifically – Mommy Blogs. While I don’t consider my blog geared towards parenting – I do share heaps about my family and personal life – since my photography and family are intertwined – and so much of my photography lately has been focused on capturing the kids this summer and the places we have been. The Sun had even sent a photographer over last week to take some pictures of me “blogging”. Aaron Daye did a wonderful job and I really enjoyed meeting him. He did his shots within 10 minutes and the rest of the time we sat around my living room chatting about photography, photo-shop, NAPP, and technique. I have some great pictures of the Micanopy July 4th Parade (I know I am late posting that one), the Butterfly Garden at the Florida Natural History Museum, and some fun with a rabbit, flash, and a trampoline coming soon!
