My goal when commissioned for family portraits is to have a variety of pictures that show the dynamics and relationships within the family unit. Mom and Dad are often surprised and moved to tears when presented with their “Moving Portrait” — not realizing how I got the shot or remembering that precious unscripted moment with their child. Pictures are all about documenting your family story. It’s important to remember this time in your life – especially when your family is so young. This particular family is so sweet – they are a blended family of seven – the 7th being the newest member of their family – and the one that connects them all!
