What a great weekend. We drove 4 hours to Dothan, Alabama to celebrate Passover with my parents. It was the first time in many, many, years that me, my siblings, and our children have all been together at once. We also had the chance to meet my brother’s 4 month old son, Benjamin Douglas. He is so adorable! I wanted to take some really nice pictures of the baby and my brother and his wife, Liz. With all of the Flickring and web surfing, I was excited about finally putting all that information to the test. But, I completely froze up. What lens do I use, what settings, how and where do I meter, do I need a flash, where to focus..urhhhhhhh!  After about 30 minutes I actually started to get into groove and started taking better pictures.
