Jordan Glen Production of Aladdin

I had the opportunity to photograph the production of Aladdin presented by Jordan Glen School. It was a great opportunity to capture the craze of the dressing room and the actual production. Here are a few of the dressing room and I will add some of the actual production in my next post. These kids range in ages from 2nd grade to 8th grade. All of the people involved are incredibly talented and creative. Just check out these costumes! The Magic Carpet is my personal favorite! A special shout out to Amy and Jeff! Thank you for all that you do to make Jordan Glen such a special place for Aidan….and me!

I shot these using the D300 with a SB-800 strobe with a Fong Diffuser Dome. I processed the RAW files in Lightroom and added the black and white presets in Lightroom. A few I brought into PS3 and used Nik Color Efex 3.0. The tonal contrast is my personal fav!

The Magic Carpet. This is my favorite. These young lady is an incredible dancer. She had no lines in the play but boy did she have stage presence!

I especially like the black and white images and the shallow depth of feel. They have a real fine art feel to them. Great work.
