2009 was a fantastic year for Laurel Housden Photography. Thank you so much to my family, friends, and clients for all the love and support. As I look back at this year I am reminded of many first:
- My first wedding on my own
- My first Bar Mitzvah
- My first cover for a magazine (Giggle Magazine)
- My first “Behind the Lens’ movie
- My first “Art Show’ at Sweet Dreams Homemade Ice Cream (it’s still there through the first of the year if you wanna go down and check it out – the corner of N.W. 34th St and University Ave)
- My first Award given to me by my local professional photography guild PPNCF
- …and so much more
I am grateful to my family: Stuart, Madison, Rowan, and Aidan that seem to tolerate the long hours and endless modeling that they succumb too. A special thank you to my darling Rowan that continues to inspire me and support me “Behind the Lens”. I sometimes forget that she is only 12 years old..but oh such a help and a source of ideas for great sessions. She is truly a gift baby and animal whisperer.
I look forward to 2010. I am working on fantastic ideas set up for fantasy sessions such as Tea with Me Sessions…Vintage Railroad Sessions…Mommy and Me Sessions…and so much more.
