I am thrilled to be leading the Gainesville Walk for Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk Day on July 18th. I was the leader last year – but Hurricane Faye visited us and so we had about 2 walkers show up – and one of them was NOT me. The walk is FREE and open to all levels of photographers – including kids!! There’s even prizes for the best pictures! Over 430 walks will be done on July 18th from all around the world!! Every-one’s pictures from the walk will be posted online for others to see . I really enjoyed looking at all the other city pages that participated last year and seeing what their city looked like – it makes for a great “Virtual Vacation”. I was able to finally see photographs of Brisbane Australia (where my beloved husband is from) and the perspective of someone who actually lives there.
The Gainesville Photo walk will be on July 18th starting at 5.45 at the steps of the Hippodrome – it will end at 7.30 at Big Lou’s Pizzeria – all the details are on my photo walk page. See the links below!
