A warm winter so far in Gainesville, Florida

Because its been so warm so far this season we’ve been experiencing more than normal fog in the mornings. It usually burns off around 10 a.m. I’ve had my eye on this tree for sometime now. I promised myself I would take the time to photograph it on my way to Aidan’s school. Every summer I ask myself why on earth I moved to Gainesville, Florida. It seems that its always so friggin hot here. It’s  mornings like this that remind me that Gainesville is not so bad all the time. After all…most of the country seems to be buried  in ice or snow…and I’m still wearing shorts!

This picture was taken with a Nikon D70s and processed through Lightroom.

I love this shot!!!!! The blue is so beautiful! Remember Moose’s digital sun on the grass - I’ll bet that would be great to add just a touch to the grass in front. I fully expect this picture to end up on someone’s wall one day.
